Penny is dedicated to helping people take meaningful steps toward healthier, values based living. She specializes in supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD, Penny brings extensive training and a compassionate presence to her work. She holds credentials as a National Certified Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Problem Gaming Counselor, and has earned a Certificate of Competency in Problem Gambling.

Penny believes therapy is a collaborative journey. She creates a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. By blending evidence-based approaches — including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing — with a warm, practical style, Penny helps clients gain insight, build resilience, and make lasting positive changes in their lives.
