Meet Tiara Baines

Tiara Baines is passionate about helping individuals through all walks of life, especially those who have faced trauma. Through her experience, she noticed the need and desire for individuals to obtain counseling. In her opinion, counseling is a way to express ourselves and assist in preventing or resolving issues. Her goal is to allow her passion to serve as the passageway to freeing others from their difficulties.  

She earned a bachelor’s in psychology and clinical counseling from Lincoln University in 2012. She has a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Tiara Baines completed the National Counselors Examination (NCE) through the National Board for Certified Counselors in November 2021. She completed EMDR training in November 2023.

She previously worked as a case manager, supervisor and program director providing assessments, clinical work, crisis intervention, and connecting individuals with resources. She provides individual, couples, groups, and family counseling. In addition, she specializes in working with children and adolescents. Tiara Baines works with a diverse population including individuals with mental health, intellectual disabilities, homeless population, as well as domestic violence and human trafficking victims.
